The Full Moon Dog Festival is a rock festival created to honour the memory of our heavy metal brother, ASOMVEL front man, JAY-JAY WINTER.
Starjack Entertainment partner, Deborah Robinson, says of the festival: “The aim of the FULL MOON DOG FESTIVAL is that Jay’s name and ASOMVEL’s music are remembered, and that people who were not lucky enough to know him leave the festival with a sense of who he was. We aim to bring everyone together to celebrate Jay’s life rather than to mourn his untimely death, and what better way than getting together to enjoy the musical genre that he lived for......REMEMBER THE 80’s? The days when hoards of metal fans would cram into local venues to see their favourite bands for a meagre couple of quid and ‘social networking’ meant actually getting off your backside and leaving the house! Well, WE'RE BRINGING BACK THE 80’s!! NINE great heavy metal bands for a mere £15 – THIS is what Jay would want – a festival in his honour, affordable to ALL heavy metal fans – just like the good old days!
